Supporting Independence, Enhancing Wellbeing
Hello, I’m Uzoaku Angela Obinwa, founder of Everyday Wellbeing Support Services. My journey has been shaped by family, education, business, and a genuine passion for helping people live fulfilling, independent lives. I originally studied Law, and while my career took me in a different direction, that foundation gave me an appreciation for advocacy, fairness, and the importance of ensuring that every individual is treated with dignity and respect. Before relocating to the United Kingdom, I spent many years raising my family while running my own business. Those experiences taught me resilience, responsibility, compassion, and the value of building meaningful relationships with people from all walks of life.
After moving to the UK, I embraced what I often jokingly call my “second act.” I returned to education and earned a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management, an achievement that reinforced my belief that growth, learning, and new opportunities are possible at any stage of life. Since then, I have worked within supported living services, supporting adults with learning disabilities to develop confidence, build life skills, access their communities, and live as independently as possible. Through this work, I have seen first-hand how the right support can help people overcome barriers, achieve personal goals, and enjoy fuller, more connected lives. My background combines legal studies, business ownership, human resource management, and hands-on experience in supported living services, giving me a broad understanding of people, advocacy, wellbeing, and professional practice.
I founded Everyday Wellbeing Support Services because I believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to live a life that is meaningful, independent, and connected to their community. I understand that true support is not simply about helping with daily tasks; it is about empowering people, recognising their strengths, respecting their choices, and supporting them to live the life they want.
At Everyday Wellbeing Support Services, we are committed to providing compassionate, person-centred support tailored to each individual’s unique needs, aspirations, and circumstances. Whether that means developing independent living skills, accessing community activities, building confidence, maintaining wellbeing, or achieving personal goals, our focus is always on promoting choice, independence, and inclusion.
Our mission is simple:
To support people to live well, maintain their independence, and thrive within their communities.
